I think this little gem on the banks of the Tugela deserves mention. Great biodiversity, amazing butterflies and as a result a large and varied no of bird species. You need to know your calls as the dense bush does not allow easy viewing.
The new EKZN Wildlife manager has really jacked up the walking trail and the views over the river and into historical Zululand are worth a visit on there own. All an hour away from Durban!
